Dentists

Maria Abril Hurtado

BDS, MSC Implantology

Maria originally qualified in 1987 and moved to Spain in 1992, where she continued her postgraduate training and specialized in implant, advanced oral and periodontal surgery. From managing her own Practice in Madrid she relocated to the UK in 2010 and is now firmly established as the Principal dentist of Church House in Shoreham by Sea.

Maria is also qualified in conscious sedation and works closely with our other dentists, ensuring that nervous patients remain calm and relaxed, no matter what treatment they require.

Outside of work, Maria enjoys gardening, travel, hiking, swimming and ocean kayaking.

Nader Fallah

BDS, MSC Periodontology

GDC No. 74697

After completing his dental studies at the University of Glasgow, Nader set up his practice in London where he developed a keen interest in restorative dentistry and periodontology. This interest led him to study for his Masters in Periodontology, and now his work is mainly limited to the treatment of gums.

In his spare time, he follows the fortunes of his beloved Q.P.R. football team and is a keen aviator.

Hiba Alobaide

Dr. Hiba Alobaide graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow and began her dental career in Sweden before moving to the UK in 2018. With a strong passion for dentistry, she is dedicated to providing high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Skilled in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Dr. Hiba also has expertise in clear aligners and is currently undertaking advanced training in implant placement. She takes a gentle and empathetic approach, particularly when treating patients with dental phobia, ensuring they feel at ease throughout their dental journey.

Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Hiba regularly attends courses to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, integrating new techniques and innovations to enhance patient care.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, believing that passion gives us purpose and travel offers invaluable lessons that shape our perspectives.

As a dedicated dental hygienist with over 14 years of experience, I have had the privilege of providing exceptional care to my patients. After graduating from Manchester University in 2011, I spent 11 rewarding years working in a private practice in South Kensington before relocating to Brighton four years ago. My passion for dental health and my commitment to delivering compassionate, gentle care have been the foundation of my professional approach.

Beyond the clinic, I am an avid advocate for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, whether through cycling, running, or playing tag rugby in a weekly social league. I believe that physical well-being plays a vital role in overall health, and I bring this energy and dedication to my work with every patient I see.

I take great pride in offering a warm, gentle approach to dental hygiene, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and relaxed during their visit. Your dental health is my top priority, and I’m here to ensure that you leave with a bright, confident smile!

Kamilla Broadbery

With a Master’s Degree in Finance and Economics, Kamilla is also CIPS qualified. She has specialised in procurement and supply chain in a variety of industries and has also had two previous positions in dentistry. She joined our team as our Ops Manager in early 2025. Kamilla is passionate about ensuring our patients receive exceptional support, further enhancing their experience with us, and helps to resolve different enquiries, complaints and treatment-related issues.

In her spare time, she loves cooking and hosting dinner parties for her friends and family. Her homemade lasagne and fisherman’s pie are cried favourites! She also loves travelling and spending time with her family (and new puppy).

As a local resident of Shoreham for the last ten years, she looks forward to her future career with Church House Dental Practice.

Practice Manager

Bob Harris

Bob is a medical microbiologist and research scientist, and has spent many years travelling the world developing new antiviral drugs and overseeing clinical trials. He has been a Director of several scientific and educational companies since 1985 and so brings considerable management and business experience to the Practice.

Bob’s knowledge of medicinal aromatic plants led to his involvement with a French Non Governmental Organisation for the protection of the forests of Madagascar, where he developed a passion for conservation, forest trekking and of course, lemurs.
